We have now moved premises to 195 Huddersfield Road, Roberttown, Liversedge. Please see our new website www.themeadowschildcare.co.uk

Meadows Childminding Centre is located in the small village of Roberttown, Liversedge. It's situated perfectly for the surrounding areas; Mirfield, Norristhorpe, Hartshead, Hightown, Cleckheaton and Heckmondwike and only a five minute drive from the M62. We offer a UNIQUE childcare solution.

The centre has been set up by Claire Hamilton who is fully qualified and Ofsted registered. All staff working at the Childminding Centre are qualified up to NVQ Level 3 with paediatric first aid training, have a DBS security check and are mothers themselves, to ensure your children get the best care.

We are confident we can give your children the love, care and education they need to prepare them for their first day at school and beyond!

We have a purpose renovated childminding centre which is open plan and filled with the very best educational toys and equipment, yet we have still managed to keep a homely feel to the place. The childminding centre opened in January 2012 and was graded 'Good' by Ofsted, we then went on to achieve 'Outstanding' on our next inspection.

As we are only a small childcare provider, now registered to care for nine children under the age of five, we can give your children more one to one individual care and attention. We are a perfect option for those children who may be a little over whelmed in a larger setting, with there just been a few of us the children can soon settle in and form close bonds with everyone.

We welcome everyone to our centre, no child or family is discriminated against regardless of race, religion or abilities. We offer a selection of multicultural toys and resources and encourage the children to recognise their own unique qualities and those of other children.

Our first priority is for your little ones to feel welcome, safe and secure. We do this by going at your child's pace, providing as many visits as necessary. After each visit your child can stay that little bit longer until you are both happy to take that final step. We cannot promise there won't be a few tears, but we can promise we will do everything possible to make the transition as smooth as it can be.

We provide a key person system, which means your child will be allocated one of us to be their main carer; it will give your child the chance to form a close relationship with this person. You will be asked to fill in an 'All about me' form to provide information about your child's likes and dislikes, such as their favourite songs, games, foods, anything they are scared of, how to comfort them and any other things you would like us to know. We will use this information to help settle your children into our centre.

As mothers ourselves we understand how hard it can be on the parents leaving their children behind. We aim to make this easier by working closely with parents and providing daily diary emails. These diaries record nearly everything your child has done throughout the day, down to what they have eaten, how they were feeling, what they have learnt and any other little things we know you would like to hear!

We treat your children with love and respect while being good role models, develop them emotionally, socially, physically and mentally. We work within the education system Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and incorporate the seven areas of learning and development into our days.

We plan lots of variation in our daily activities including lots of outdoor time learning and exploring our environment. This provides the children with rich and varied days

We hope you are pleased with what we have to offer at our centre and we look forward to a close working relationship with your family.
